Amager Polka (H.C. Lumbye)

The insel "Amager" is close to Copenhagen. I was former knovn for its farmers, who preferred the cultivation of vegetables. To the honour of these farmers Lumbye wrote this little elegant and delicate polka with an unmistakable clog-dance touch (try to involve your audience in the "tramp" on the conductors indications. It can be very amusing).
